Cetody Sound Healing

The holistic care of the future

A holistic healing method

Cetody Sound Healing (CSH) was conceived and developed in 2019 by Pierre Robert de Latour and officially launched in 2024. CSH is a holistic sound-based practice that harnesses the unique acoustic properties of cetacean vocalisations to engage the human body through sympathetic bio-resonance. These sound frequencies interact with the body’s systems — including hormonal glands, tissues, and organs — creating conditions that support balance, regulation, and overall wellbeing at a holistic level.

The sounds used in CSH are not generic recordings. They are carefully selected through dedicated research for their depth, structure, and perceived therapeutic qualities. They originate from specific cetacean species — orcas, humpback whales, false orcas, dolphins, and sperm whales — whose vocalisations are known for their complexity and low-frequency resonance. All recordings are captured in the ocean using professional hydroacoustic equipment, including the Aquarian Audio Hydrophone H1A (1 Hz–100 kHz), PA1-PIP buffer amplifier, and Zoom H1 Handy Recorder, and preserved in high-resolution WAV format to maintain acoustic integrity.

From hundreds of hours of raw ocean recordings, a refined selection is curated and defined as Cetacean Sounds (CS) — the core sonic foundation of the Cetody method.

These sounds are applied through three distinct Cetody Sound Healing practices, each offering a different mode of experience:

Cetody Vibratory Care (CVC) – direct vibrational engagement

Cetody Relaxation Care (CRC) – guided deep relaxation and nervous system calming

Cetody Immersive Experience (CIE) – full-spectrum immersion, including Immersive Sound Massage (ISM)

Modern medecine

Cetody Sound Healing is designed to be used alongside allopathic diagnosis and conventional medical care, as a complementary practice that supports the body, mind, and nervous system. Depending on the Cetody technique applied, it may help to:

  • Support physiological and psychological balance

  • Maintain vitality, natural equilibrium, and a sense of renewal

  • Encourage cellular regeneration and overall rejuvenation processes

  • Support the body’s natural detoxification mechanisms

  • Strengthen resilience and support immune function

  • Ease muscular and joint tension, and support comfort in cases of headaches, digestive discomfort, and physical strain

  • Accompany key life transitions such as pregnancy (including preparation for childbirth), menopause, and andropause

  • Promote deeper sleep, relaxation, and overall wellbeing

  • Help reduce stress, anxiety, tinnitus, phobias, low mood, and support sensory regulation, including in some neurodiverse profiles

  • Enhance focus, concentration, and mental clarity

  • Support physical performance, recovery, teamwork dynamics, and overall vitality, including libido
